More than 70 water industry leaders and experts attended the 7th Annual Leadership Summit organized by the California Utility Executive Management Association (CUEMA) at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad on September 6-8.
The 2017 Summit focused on the future of water leadership and ways to delegate responsibility throughout an organization. The event provided an opportunity for high-impact conversations, networking and collaboration, allowing utility leaders to share ideas and seek solutions to the challenges facing their organizations.
CUEMA is the premier non-profit organization for water utility professionals, their supporters and associates working in the great state of California. The association offers a supportive, career-building network that boasts productivity and strengthens leadership among members.
Those attending the Summit included board directors, supervisors, general managers, and experts in engineering, management and workforce training. The three-day event featured a golf tournament, networking opportunities, and informative and interactive sessions.
